Our Brooms - A usefull tool that is pleasant to the eye.

Our brooms are constructed with the same hand made care used by craftsmen from days gone by. The equipment used was made before the Civil War. The brooms are made from “broom corn“. Broom corn is a type of sorghum grown exclusively for making brooms. The brooms used by your grandparents and great grandparents were made of broom corn. Our brooms are individually hand made and never will there be two brooms exactly alike. A good broom will “stand on its own”.

These brooms are medium duty brooms. They are our best selling brooms. They are not too heavy but strong enough for most any job. They have 3 bands of stitching.  They sell for $15..00. These brooms are thick enough to stand by themselves.

The brooms in this picture are "Cabin Brooms" (with short handles) and "kitchen brooms". The cabin brooms  are great in a camper or hanging by a fire place. The kitchen brooms are very good at cleaning small areas around the house.  They are stitched with 2 bands.  Either broom  sells for $12.00 each

The brooms pictured here are "cob web" brooms.  The shorter ones will reach the hard to get places in a house with a ceiling with a normal height.  The longer ones are great for houses with higher ceilings.  The short brooms sell for $6.00 and the long ones for $7.00
